It was published in "PUZZLE" the school magazine of Pesaro’s schools. A
part of it was translated for our partners from abroad.
…So we left the hotel and in the parking we
immediately saw a group of girls and a boy who greeted us, they had a
thoughtful look and curiosity towards us , everyone showed up and immediately
started fooling around as if we were old friends who reunite after a long time, there was at once a feeling between us and I felt very comfortable with them.
There's the stereotype that people of northern or eastern Europe are not very friendly, it is said that they are a bit “cold” ... it is totally false, as soon as I
entered the house of the Polish family all were interested in me, in my life in
Italy, my family. I realized that people are very friendly and helpful, with
a very open mind in comparison with many Italians.
During the week we all went to school with them then we had free time in the afternoon and our friends were organized to take us to see a different place every time so we had the opportunity to spend some time together and know the daily reality of the guys in Poland...Their art school was like a dream, there was really creative atmosphere along the corridors full of large paintings all made by the students, in the laboratories everyone could show his/her personality as they are left free to express themselves in the easiest possible way with very intelligent manual works, a particularity that I think we are losing in Italy because of cuts and laws that are detrimental to the education of the students. Then the same guys were proud of their creations produced during the year, many of these were exposed, it was not simply the fact that they get a good grade but they can be completely absorbed in the subject. We are all closely bonded to these guys, they are very smart and know how to stay in the world and in school, we were sorry to go away from them but we keep in touch on facebook and we are working to host them in the best way in March in our Pesaro. It was very instructive to see how they live the school, school is the future of all of us and it should be better than it currently is. I tried to understand the good things and the bad things so that, once back in Italy, I could do something to improve our school situation. We are the ones who stay there every day for nine months, we are the essence of school because without us it would just be a nice building with no soul, we must revive the desire to be together, the interest to produce useful things and special ones , staying in school should not be seen as a waste of time or a simple matter of learning but as a part of ourselves…

del Mengaroni: missione Polonia
In questi
cittadina vicino Cracovia.
Spagna, Polonia, Turchia e Italia. Fra di
noi c’erano: Francesca Antolini, Vittoria Tontini, Giulio Galli e Stefano
essendo in classi diverse .
sapevamo cosa e chi aspettarci.
è totalmente falso, appena entrai in
come pittura all’aria aperta, storia della polonia e altre.
premiata, basta parole!
